PETALS
Today, the sun
does shine
even if clouds
are all
you see.

Fragrances require
nothing, though
we think the
nose does make
them real.

Today, all is
alive although
you may feel
dead inside.

Remember this,
and the thorn
will pull away
revealing the petals
of your heart.
