Do you have a vision of your future self and your future life?
A big, unbelievable vision?
If not, read on. You may want to make a change.
Children know about imagination. They fly and soar and never think, I’m being silly. This isn’t possible. Most adults however convince themselves there is no point in playing make-believe. The problem is we forget to dream; it limits the possibilities for our lives.
Creating a vision has a two-fold benefit. Firstly, it is an exercise in possibility, and possibility is the arena in which you give yourself permission to believe in something beyond the obvious. This is the realm where all things are possible. There are no can’ts or shouldn’ts or won’ts. It is also the home of the higher self, the place where your true power resides. In essence, by choosing to create a grand vision, you give yourself more tasty options in the buffet of life.
When you consciously create a vision of how you want to be or what you would like to achieve, you open yourself to receiving guidance and help to manifest the image of what you have imagined. Your vision is the intention. It becomes a magnet, so to speak, that attracts people and situations to support you on your quest.
Secondly, in addition to setting a wider stage for the future you, your vision also provides a framework to focus and direct your energy in a conscious, targeted way. When you act with your vision in mind, you will be more effective in actually bringing to life that which you desire.
Now keep in mind that while a vision is important in moving you consciously forward, it is as important to remain flexible along the way. It is not a contradiction. Let’s face it, life happens, and sometimes you may have to change your plans. Visions can also change and evolve. Stay in awareness, and trust that there is a reason for how life is presenting itself. Flexibility and openness helps navigate life while allowing for the experience of peace and contentment along the way.
So, what do you say? How about creating a grand vision today? Who do you want to be? What do you want to see happen 1 year from now? 5 years? 10?
